Our school prides itself on the support it gives to its local, national and international community. Throughout the year we hold special events that are run by individual classes or as a whole school organised by our School Council, to raise money to help others in need.
Birch Class sponsor a young child called Agatha who is a 13 year old girl living in India who aspires to become a doctor. We have supported the charity in raising money to build walls, buy beds and this year; to buy toilets! Without the continued support and generosity from our children and parents Agatha's dream simply would not be possible as she would be unable to get the education she deserves and needs. We hold 'Agatha Day' in the Spring Term where Birch Class transform their classroom into an Aladdin's Cave of treasures and create games for the children to win prizes. Each child is invited to enter the classroom at a small fee (20p) and then enjoy buying treats, toys and playing games. We always manage to raise a fantastic amount of money, which makes Birch Class children so proud! Thank you for your continued support.
School Council have decided to support 'Water Aid' for our Charity this year! Look on the School Council page for updates on competitions and activities to help raise money.
